Unique Night

During that unique, scary,

silent night.

Slowly I walked,

occupied by fear.

I could see nothing

but complete darkness.

I sped up, carried by my thoughts,

confused!

Where am I heading?

Could this be my end?

I am in fear.

My feet gradually slowed down.

Something inside me

sticks to my veins,

flows with my blood,

and becomes part of me.

My saddened thoughts

began pushing each other, 

disturbing me,

while my mouth lost words.

Suddenly a glimpse of light

appeared from far, far away.

I ran, trying to get there,

to reduce my pain,

but no gain!

I fell into a deep well!

Saw a giant wild beast,

with his mouth opened

like it was waiting for me

to be a delicious meal.

For a few scary seconds,

I felt this is my end.

I started crying.

I cannot handle this!

Will I die?

Who will take me to my grave?

Who will tell my family and friends?

Who will take care of me here?

At any second, I will be dead

in this dark, deep well.

Oh Allah,

be with me,

bring Your Blessings to me,

comfort me.

I am afraid of this darkness,

so light the sky,

I do not want to die.

I raised my head.

Suddenly, an old man 

to my surprise appeared, 

he asked me:

"What brought you here"?

Answered: I got lost.

He gave me his hand

and pulled me out.

I turned my face looking for him.

He disappeared.
