نِداءُ استغاثة لِتًوْحيدْ أَبناء الأُمَّةِ (الكلدان – السريان – الآشوريين)

نِداءُ الاستغاثة هذا مُوًجهٌ لِكُلْ أَبناء الأُمَّةِ الواحدة في بلاد ما بين النهرين وفي بلاد المَهْجَرْ بلا استثناء، وفي مُقَدَمَتِهُمْ السادةَ المسؤولين عن المؤسسات القومية بتخصصاتها التالية:

1.   الكَنَسِيّةِ (قَداسَة البَطارِكَةِ، المَطارِنَة الأَجِّلاءْ، القَساوِسَة والآباءْ الكهنة الأَفاضِلْ، والأِخوَةِ الشَمامِسَة المحترمون)

(كنيسة المشرق الآشورية بضمنها التقويم القديم)، (الكنيسة الكلدانية)، (الكنيسة السريانية)

2.   الحِزبيةِ والسِياسِيَةِ (أُمَناءْ السِرْ، الرُؤَساءْ، جميع الأَعْضاء المحترمون)

(الحركة الديمقراطية الآشورية "زوعا")، (حزب أبناء النهرين)، (أتحاد بيث نهرين الوطني)، (حزب بيت نهرين الديمقراطي)، (الحزب الوطني الآشوري)، (حزب المجلس الشعبي الكلداني- السرياني- الآشوري)، (حزب الاتحاد الديمقراطي الكلداني)، (المجلس القومي الكلداني)، (الرابطة الكلدانية)، (حركة تجمع السريان)، (الاتحاد العالمي الآشوري)، (مجلس بيث نهرين القومي)، (فرقونو)، (حزب خلاص آشور)، (مطكستا)، (أتحاد السريان العالمي)، (المجلس القومي الآشوري في أستراليا)، (البرلمان الآشوري)، (حركة بابليون).

3.   الثَقافِيَةِ والاجتماعية والشبابية بِمسؤوليها وأعضائها وهيئاتها العامة المحترمون، إلخ.

(كل فناني ومفكري ومثقفي شعبنا)، (كل من لم يرد ذكره أعلاه).

تسلسل الأسماء أعلاه لا يشير أبداً إلى الأفضلية. إن كان هناك أسماء قد نسيتها أرجو المعذرة منكم.

كاتب هذا المقال يوجه التحية والتقدير والاحترام لكل شهداء العمل القومي الذين ضَحّوا بأنفسهم من أجل وحدة أبناء الأمة، والتحيةُ موصولةٌ لكلِ القائمين حالياً بمسؤولياتهم من أبناء كنائسنا وأحزابنا ومؤسساتنا بكل تفرعاتها وتخصصاتها. 

نداء استغاثتي هذا مضمونه ما يلي: لدى كاتب هذا المقال فكرة تأريخية لتوحيد أبناء الأمة من الكلدان-السريان-الآشوريين. هل أنتم مستعدون لها؟ هل تستحقونها؟ الجواب عندكم بعد قراءة هذا المقال كاملاً.

قبل التطرق للخطوط العريضة لفكرتي عن توحيد أبناء الأمة، اسمحوا لي بِعَنْوَنَة بعض الفقرات التالية لما لها من دَلالاتِ معاناة شخصية ضرورية لاستيعاب ما سيرد لاحقاً من مطالب يضعها كاتب هذا المقال.

بَطَلُ العالَمْ الأسبق في رياضة التنس (أندريه أغاسي Andre Agassi) 

سَمِعْتُ، والعُهْدَةُ على القائل، بأن أبناء أمتي في المهجر سألوا بطل العالم الأسبق أندريه أغاسي (وهو من أبناء أمتنا) بما معناه "لماذا لا تُظْهِرْ اهتمامك بالمسألة القومية لأبناء أمتنا وأنت منهم؟" فكان جوابه بما معناه "عندما كنت صغيراً، كان أبي يمر بأزمة ومعضلة فاستنجد بأبناء قومه ولم يجد الصدر الرحب ولم يكن هناك من يمد له يَدَ العَوْنِ"! كاتب هذا المقال يرجوكم أن تمحصوا بفحوى قصة أندريه أغاسي، برأيكم كم كان سيكون دوره مؤثراً (باعتباره بطلاً للعالم) في نشر قصة معاناة أبناء أمتنا؟ المغزى: لقد فَوَتُمْ وسَتُفَوِتُون على أمتنا وعلى أنفسكم فِرَصٌ تأريخية عندما لا تتصرفون بِرَجاحَةِ عَقْلٍ وقت الأزمات. أنتم الآن في أزمة تأريخية، كاتب هذا المقال له مفتاح وحدتكم التاريخية. 

مواقف أبناء الأمة من كاتب هذا المقال

إليكم البعض مما قام به أبناء أمتي تجاه كاتب هذا المقال:

1.   سرقة أموال عائلتي ومُدَخَراتْ فترة عمل ما يقارب العشرون عاماً!

2.   نكرانُ مًعْروفٍ، قام به من كنت أعتبره صديقاً، في أرض الغربة بعد أن ساندته يوم كان طالباً في بلاد النهرين.

3.   تجاهل وتنكر وعدم مَدْ يَدِ العون في أرض الغُربةِ وأَخُصُّ بالذِكرِ من هو في دبي ويَدَّعِي اهتمامه بالشأن القومي.

4.   احتلال قطعة أرض في شمال العراق بعد أن كُنْتُ قد اشتريتها من أخيهم وبشهادة أهل القرية.

5.   ضَحَّيْتُ بنفسي من أجل الآخرين وكان جزائي النكران والتخاذل.

قارنوا المواقف الخمسة أعلاه (وَهِيَ غَيضً من فَيْضٍ) مع قصة أندريه أغاسي والحليم تكفيه الاشارة. هذا لا يعني بأن ليس هناك من هو طيب القلب ويستحق الاحترام من أبناء أمتي من أمثال الأستاذ نيسان ميرزا البازي الشجاع، وكذلك الدكتور كاميران عبدوكا (من عنكاوة). تحية حب وتقدير واحترام لهما.

سباق الأولمبياد لذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة

يُحكى (والعهدة على القائل) بأنه في سباق لذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة تعثر أحد المتسابقين وسقط على الأرض، لَمّا تنبه المتسابقين الآخرين بسقطته رجعوا جميعاً إليه وأنهضوه وتماسكوا يداً بيد ووصلوا خط النهاية معاً ليكونوا فائزين جميعاً! هل بيننا من يرتقي لمستوى ذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة هذا؟

المواقف الخمسة أعلاه (وَهِيَ غَيضً من فَيْضٍ) قَـلَبَتْ حياتي وحياة عائلتي رأساً على عَقِبْ وَحَيَّرَتْنِي وبَدَأتُ التساؤلَ، هل كُنتُ منخدعاً بهذا الشعب؟ هل كُنتُ متواضعاً جداً لدرجة تناسوني وقت الأزمات وأنا الذي كنت سَبّاقاً لخدمتهم ومُصالَحَتِهُمْ وقت حاجتهم؟ هل يستحقوا مني أن أشغل وقتي وتفكيري بهم ومن أجلهم؟ استوقفتني معاناتي بسبب حال التشرد والتشرذم التي تعيشها أمتي، وبدأتُ أُرَدِدْ أغنية المبدع نينوس ديفيد القائلة "جَمِيلُون قِطّاطُخ يا لِبّي ودُرْ مِدرِ لِبّا" اجمع أجزاءِكَ يا قلبي وعُدْ من جديد قَلْباَ، وبدلاً من أن ألعَنْ الظلام قَرَرْتُ إشعالَ شَمْعَةٍ بتقديم فكرتي لكم. إن لم يتم تبنيها من قبل مؤسساتنا فإنني سوف أطمرها معي في التابوت يوم مماتي وستبقون مشردين متشرذمين ليوم الدين لأنكم ستنطبق عليكم أغنية الفنان المبدع اشور سركيس القائلة "يا نورا الديانا" المرآة المخادعة، وتثبتون بأنكم لا ترتقون لمستوى ذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة حيث انتشلتم الأمل من صدور أبناء أمتي. أمّا أنتم يا أبناء الأمة، إن كنتم ترتضون أن تنقادوا بمرآة مخادعة فاعلموا بأنكم تستحقون التشرذم! 

أَمّا بَعْدُ، تَوَقَفْتُ عن كتابة أي مقال يخص العمل القومي لما يقارب الإثني عَشَرَ عاماً أو أكثر، بسبب معاناتي السالفة الذكر، ولم أكن أنوي الكتابة مجدداً، ولكن معاناتي بسبب ما وَصَلَتْ إليه حالُ أبناء الأمة من التشرد والتشرذم في مختلف أصقاع الأرض المصاحب لفقدان الأمل بين أبناء الأمة بإمكانية الوصول إلى بر الأمان دفع بي لإطلاق آخِرَ صَرْخَةٍ كنِداءِ استغاثة. نداء الاستغاثة هذا سيكون الأخير الذي يطلقه كاتب هذا المقال من أجل خدمة أبناء الأمة. مقالتي هذه أما ستكون الأخيرة التي أكتبها من أجل خدمة أبناء الأمة، أو ستكون الشرارة الأولى التي ستنير دربهم.

حيث نتج عنه إقامة احتفالية واحدة لأعياد أكيتو بدلا من احتفالية كان مقرراً إقامتها في مكانين متقاربين.

في أكثر من مناسبة، سمعنا من مسؤولينا المحترمون بأن الآخرين يوجهوا لهم الكلام التالي "اذهبوا ورتبوا منزلكم ثم تعالوا لتفاوضوا معنا". هكذا ضيعتم علينا العديد من المقتنيات القومية بسبب تفرقكم وأنانيكم. إخوتي، سارعوا الخطى لتستفيد أمتنا من جهود المفكرين والمثقفين والفنانين والشباب قبل فوات الأوان وقبل أن يُوارُوا الثَرى ويلفظوا أنفاسهم الأخيرة.

فكرتي تولدت سنة 2004/2005 ، ولكن بسبب تخبط وأنانية عمل مؤسسات أُمَّتِنا احتفظت بها لأنها لم تكن لتجد الصدر الرحب لاحتضانها ، حيث على الصعيد العام وبسبب التخبط الناجم عن إيجاد التسمية المناسبة لشعبنا تولدت مؤسسات جديدة في زمن كنا نأمل بأن تتوحد المؤسسات التي كانت أساساً موجودة في ساحة العمل القومي ، حيث صار البعض يعتبرك بالضد منه إن لم تنتمي إليه ويعتبرك منتمياً أو مشجعاً للطرف الآخر حتى وإن كُنْتَ مستقلاً . الطامة الكبرى هي على الصعيد الشخصي، أثبتت مؤسساتنا العاملة بأن ليس لها بُعْدُ نَظَرْ لكيفية الاستفادة من طاقات أبناء الأمة وشبابها، حيث قام البعض منها بأعمال أشبه بالتجسسية وعرقلة المسيرة! فكيف بكذا أجواء تخبط كانت فكرتي هذه سَتَجِدُ لها مكاناً وحضناً نقياً لتتمكن من خدمة وتوحيد أبناء الأمة؟  

بعد ذلك اختمرت الفكرة لتُبَيِّنْ بأَنها ليست فقط الحلُ الأَمْثَلْ لِمُعْضِلَة التسمية المناسبة وإنما هي المفتاح الذهبي للوحدة التي طال انتظارها. هنا لابد أن أُحَيّي كل المحاولات السابقة، حيث لولاها وما نتج عنها لما ازدادت معاناتي ولما تولدت فكرتي هذه.

أنا لا أَدَّعِي بأن فكرتي مثالية ولا يوجد أَفْضَلَ منها، ولكن أنا واثق من قوة وفعالية فكرتي لأنني وبكل تواضع لم أجد ليومنا هذا فكرة أفضل منها. ولو ظهرت على الساحة فكرة واحدة أفضل منها، ثِقُوا بأنني سأعترف علناً بأفضليتها وأخلع القبعة وانحني أمامها تكريماً لها ولصاحبها.

الخطوط العريضة لفكرتي عن توحيد أبناء الأمة (الكلدان – السريان – الآشوريين)

سوف لن أتطرق لتفاصيل دقيقة عن فكرتي، حيث إنها في الوقت الحالي مُلْكٌ لي (بَراءَة اختراعها من حَقِيَ الشخصي)، بل سَأُبَيِّنْ البعض من مَيِّزاتَها وثِمارَها الطيبة التي هي بانتظاركم لو واتتكم الشجاعة والنزاهة لتتبنوها لخير أبناء أمتكم. 

1.   العمود الفقري لفكرتي هو مبدأ التضحية. الكل سيضحي عن طيب خاطر بشيءٍ ثمين من أجل الآخرين، والكل سيستلم بكل طيب خاطر ما يضحي به الآخرون. وبما أن التضحية هي أبهى صُوَرُ الحُبِ، إذاً الكل سَيُظْهِرْ المحبة لأخيه الآخر. أستحلفكم بالله، ألا تحلمون وتتمنون بأن تعيشوا في أجواء المحبة هذه؟ أَمّا أنتم يا رِجالَ الكنيسةِ، أشبعتمونا (مشكورين) كِرازةً عن تضحيةِ السيد المسيح له المجد، ها قد جاء دوركم لتثبتوا لأبنائكم بأنكم قدوة وأتباع صالحين للمسيح وذلك بأن تتقبلوا التضحية التي أنتم بصددها! والكلام موصول لكل مؤسسات أبناء الأمة ممن يحتفون بتضحية الشهداء، أَكْرِمُوا شهداء الأمة!

2.   أول مكسب لفكرتي هو الحل الأمثل لمعضلة التسمية المناسبة لأبناء الأمة وتبعث الأمل بمستقبل مشرق.

3.   من يتبنى هذه الفكرة (فرداً أو جماعةً) سيدخل التأريخ من أوسع أبوابه باعتباره الراعي والمُوَحِّد لأبناء الأمة.

4.   فكرتي بسيطة بالمبدأ، لكن تطبيقها سيكون له صدىً مُدَّوِي تَهتزُ له الجبال التي رسمها الآخرون بين مختلف مكونات الأمة (تعدد الكنائس، تعدد الأحزاب، تعدد مختلف المؤسسات). وفي نفس الوقتِ ستهز عرش كل مؤسساتنا ليَنْبَري من هو مخلص لأمته ويهترئ من هو بالضِدِّ منها.

قد يتساءل القارئ العزيز، ما الذي يجعلك واثقاً بأن فكرتك هذه ستنجح؟ سؤال منطقي أحترمه، وجوابي فيما يلي:

1.   المحاولات السابقة جاءت من مؤسسات لها أجندات، عندما أقول أجندات لا أقصد العَمالَةِ للآخرين وإنما أقصد كل مؤسساتنا لها نظام داخلي وجدول عمل (أَجِنْدَةِ)، عندما كانت تلتقي مؤسساتنا لتوحيد الجهود الكل كان يحاول أن يأخذ ما يستطيع من الآخر (ربما بفرض الرأي)، وإن أمكن عدم التنازل عن أي شيء. هذا المبدأ كان يُضَيِّقْ الخناق عليهم ليجدوا أنفسهم من حيث يعلمون أو لا يعلمون يقفون بالضد من بعضهم الآخر فتفشل محاولاتهم.

2.   أما فكرتي، ولأنها مبنية على أساس تضحية الكل من أجل الكل، فلن يكون هناك نقاش متشنج. فكرتي ثِمارَها لن تقف عند حل معضلة التسمية المناسبة لأبناء شعبنا، بل تتعداها كتطبيق فعلي لوحدة كل مؤسساتنا ووحدة الأنظمة الداخلية لها بخطة عمل دقيقة ومدروسة (في الوقت الراهن خطة العمل هذه هي مُلْكٌ شخصي لكاتب هذا المقال). 

3.   فكرتي لن يتجرأ أيٌ من أبناء الأمة بأن يُفَكِرَ بها، وإن واتته الجرأة ليفكر بها فبالتأكيد لن يتجرأ أن ينطق بها! أنا لي الجرأة الأدبية لأُفَكِّرْ وأنطق بها. لأنني مؤمن بمبدأ التضحية وأنا مُحِبٌ لكل الآخرين وأحترمهم.

4.   مبدأ فرسان الطاولة المستديرة (الواحد من أجل الكل والكل من أجل الواحد) (ONE for all & ALL for one) أنا مؤمن به، حيث بمجرد نشر مقالي هذا أكون قد ضحيت من أجل الأمة الواحدة (لا موجب لذكر نوع التضحية لأنها تنطوي على أخطار جمة). هل أنتم مستعدون للتضحية من أجل الأمة الواحدة وكيانها الواحد؟!

كخاتمة لمقالي هذا إليكم النقاط التالية:

أ‌.    قبل تبنيكم لفكرتي، يجب أن تعلموا بأنني لن أكشف أَيَّ تَفْصيلٍ دقيق منها قبل أن تُنَفِذُوا لكاتب هذا المقال مطلبين، أولهما مادِيٌ والثاني مَعْنَوِيٌ. فيما مضى كنت سأقدمها بدون أي مطلب، ولكن معاناتي بسببكم أجبرتني.

ث‌.   بكل تواضع، أنا هو الحجر الذي رفضه البناؤون فأصبح حجر الزاوية. سأجعلكم بناؤو وحدة أمتنا. ها أنا لا أنكر دوركم في بناء وحدة الأمة، بل سأكون داعماً لكم وخادما مخلصاً لأمتنا العجوز التي هي بحاجة لجهود كل أبنائها لتكون فرحتنا عارمة ولنستعيد أمجادها. أستحلفكم بالله، تكاتفوا ولا تضيعوا الفرصة التي أضعها بين أيديكم.

ج‌.   تهيئوا جميعا لاستقبال الضربة (التضحية) الأولى، تَقَبَلوها بِرَحابَةِ صَدْرٍ، هامتكم ستبقى مرفوعة لاحقاً.

ح‌.   أيها المسؤولون جميعاً، أنتم لستم أصحاب مؤسساتكم (بمعنى أنتم لا تملكونها) بل أنتم تديرون شؤونها. الكنيسة مُلْكٌ للسيد المسيح، المَسِيحُ باقٍ وأنتم زائلون. مؤسسات السياسة والأحزاب مُلْكٌ للأمة، الأمة باقية وأنتم زائلون. مؤسسات الثقافة مُلْكٌ للشعب والإنسانية، الشعب باقٍ وأنتم زائلون. أيهما أكثر أَهَمِيَةٌ عندكم، بَقاءُ مَنْصِبَكُمْ أم وحدة أمتكم؟

خ‌.   أنتم أيها المعتدلون (غير المتعصبون)، حَرِّكُوا مؤسساتكم لتدعم كاتب هذا المقال من أجل وحدة أمتكم وَرِفْعَة رَأسكُمْ.

د‌.    ربما ستقولون "كيف سنلبي المطالب ونحن لا نعلم ما هي الفكرة"، أي هل نشتري سمك وهو في الشط؟ أحترم وجهة النظر هذه، جوابي عليها هو: راجعوا قراءة هذا المقال من جديد وانظروا الجرأة الأدبية التي تكلم بها كاتبه، هذا لأنه واثق من نفسه ومخلص لأمته. كونوا أنتم أيضاً واثقين من رغبتكم بالاستثمار من أجل وحدة أمتكم وأنا واثق بأنكم شُطّارْ ومجتهدين في كيفية الحفاظ على استثماراتكم. 

ذ‌.    أرجو من قارئ هذا المقال أن ينشر المقال لكل الآخرين من أبناء الأمة وبالأخص مؤسساتنا الشبابية لأنهم المحرك الأساس لنهضة الأمة. ليس لي الإيميل الخاص بكل مؤسساتنا العاملة، لذلك أرجو ممن هو في مؤسساتنا الكَنَسِيَةِ والحزبية والثقافية والاجتماعية والشبابية أن يحاول قدر المستطاع إرسال هذا المقال لكل شخصٍ أو مؤسسة له تواصل معهم. شبابنا الطيب، ليس لي صفحة للفيسبوك، أرجو منكم استغلال صفحاتكم من أجل نشر هذا المقال.

قال الشاعر المبدع أبو القاسم الشابي "إذا الشَعْبُ يَوماً أراد الحياة، فَلابُدَّ أن يستجيب القَدَرْ". أيها الشباب الواعي وكل مخلص من أبناء أمتي، تمعنوا جيداً بكلمات أبو القاسم الشابي، بعد ذلك استمعوا لأغنية الفنان المبدع ايوان أغاسي "روش روش يا برونا وبراتا، روشون يا ساوا وسوتا" أنهض يا فتى ويا فتاة، انهضوا أيها العجائز. هذا المقال الذي بين أيديكم يمثل ثورة كاتب المقال على واقع حال أمتنا، ثورتكم أنتم المسؤولون عنها!

السيناريوهات التالية ستمثل البعض من حالاتكم بعد قراءة هذا المقال:

A distress call to unite the people of the nation (Chaldeans - Syriacs - Assyrians)

This distress call is directed to all the people of one nation in Mesopotamia and the Diaspora, without exception, and foremost among them are the gentlemen responsible for the national institutions with the following specializations:

1.      Ecclesiastical (His Holiness the Patriarchs, the Eminent Metropolitans, the distinguished priests and fathers’ priests, and the distinguished brothers’ deacons)

(Assyrian Church of the East including the Old Calendar), (Chaldean Church), (Syriac Church)

2.      Party and political (secretaries, presidents, all respected members)

(Assyrian Democratic Movement “Zowaa”), (Sons of the Two Rivers Party), (Beth Nahrin National Union), (Bet Nahrin Democratic Party), (Assyrian National Party), (Chaldean-Syriac-Assyrian People’s Council Party), (Democratic Union Party Chaldean), (Chaldean National Council), (Chaldean League), (Syriac Gathering Movement), (Assyrian International Union), (Beth Nahrin National Council), (Farquno), (Assyria Salvation Party), (Mtaksta), (Syriac Union Global), (Assyrian National Council of Australia), (Assyrian Parliament), (Babylon Movement).

3.      Cultural, social and youth, with its respected officials, members, public bodies, etc.

The writer of this article extends greetings, appreciation, and respect to all the martyrs of national action who sacrificed themselves for the unity of the people of the nation, and greetings are extended to all those currently carrying out their responsibilities from among the members of our churches, parties and institutions with all their branches and specializations.

The content of this distress call is the following: The author of this article has a historical idea to unite the Chaldean-Syriac-Assyrian people of the nation. Are you ready for it? Do you deserve it? You have the answer after reading this entire article.

Before addressing the broad outlines of my idea of uniting the people of the nation, allow me to title some of the following paragraphs because they have connotations of personal suffering necessary to accommodate the demands that the writer of this article will make later.

Former world tennis champion Andre Agassi

I heard, and I trust the speaker, that the people of my nation in the diaspora asked former world champion Andre Agassi (who is one of the sons of our nation) to the effect of, “Why don’t you show your interest in the national issue of the people of our nation, while you are one of them?” His answer was, “When I was young, my father was going through a crisis and a dilemma, so he asked his people for help, but he did not find a welcoming heart, and there was no one to extend a helping hand to him”! The author of this article asks you to examine the content of Andre Agassi’s story. In your opinion, how influential would his role have been (as a world tennis champion) in spreading the story of the suffering of our nation’s people? The point: You have missed, and you will miss out on, for our nation and for yourselves, historic opportunities when you do not act with reasonable judgment in times of crisis.  The nation’s people’s attitudes towards the author of this article

Here are some of what my nation’s people did to the author of this article:

1.      Stealing my family’s money and the savings of nearly twenty years of work!

2.      A denial of gratitude, made by someone I considered a friend, in a foreign land after I supported him when he was a student in Mesopotamia.

3.      Ignoring, disguising, and not extending a helping hand in foreign lands, especially that in Dubai who claims to be interested in national affairs.

4.      Occupying my land in northern Iraq after I had bought it from their brother and with the testimony of the villagers.

5.      I sacrificed myself for the sake of others, and my reward was denial and inaction.

Compare the five situations above (which are just the tip of the iceberg) with the story of Andre Agassi and a wise reader “Al-Halim” is sufficient to point out. This does not mean that there is no one who is kind-hearted and deserves respect among the people of my nation, such as the brave Mr Nissan Mirza Al-Bazi, as well as Dr. Kamiran Abdouka (from Ankawa). A tribute of love, appreciation, and respect to them.

Paralympic race

It is said (and I swear by the one who said it) that in a race for people with special needs, one of the contestants stumbled and fell to the ground. When the other contestants became aware of his fall, they all went back to him, picked him up, held on hand in hand, and reached the finish line together to be all winners! Is there anyone among us who rises to this level of people with special needs?

The above five situations (is the tip of the iceberg) turned my life and the life of my family upside down and confused me and I began to wonder: Was I deceived by these people? Was I so humble that they forgot about me in times of crisis when I was the first to serve them and reconcile them in their time of need? Do they deserve me to occupy my time and think about them and for them? My suffering stopped me because of the state of homelessness and fragmentation that my nation is experiencing, and I began to repeat the song of the creator Ninos David, which says, “Jameelon Qittattokh Ya Libee, W dur midre Libba” Gather your parts, my heart, and come back again as a heart. Instead of cursing the darkness, I decided to light a candle by presenting my idea to you. If it is not adopted by our institutions, then I will bury it with me in the coffin on the day of my death, and you will remain displaced and fragmented till the Day of Judgment because you will apply to the song of the creative artist Ashur Sarkis, which says, “Ya Noura Aldiana” the deceiving mirror, and you will prove that you do not rise to the level of people with special needs, as you have taken hope from the hearts of my nation’s people. The sons of my nation, as for you, if you are willing to be led by a deceptive mirror, know that you deserve fragmentation!

I stopped writing any article related to national work (issues) for nearly twelve years or more due to my aforementioned suffering, and I did not intend to write again, but my suffering is due to the state of the nation’s people, of homelessness and fragmentation in various parts of the earth, accompanied by the loss of hope among the ability of the people of the nation to reach safety prompted me to release my last cry as a call for help. This distress call will be the last that the author of this article makes in order to serve the people of the nation. This article of mine will either be the last that I write to serve the people of the nation, or it will be the first spark that will light their path.

This is how you lost many of our national treasures because of your division and selfishness. My brothers, hurry so that our nation can benefit from the efforts of thinkers, intellectuals, artists, and youth before it is too late and before they are buried and take their last breath.

My idea was born in 2004/2005 however, due to the confusion and selfishness of the work of our nation’s institutions, it was kept because they were not able to find a large heart to embrace it. On the general level, and because of the confusion resulting from finding the appropriate name for our people, new institutions were born at a time when we hoped that the institutions that were already present in the arena of national action would be united. Some people have begun to consider you against them if you do not belong to them, and they consider you a member or encourager of the other party, even if you are independent. The biggest calamity is on the personal level, our operating institutions have proven that they do not have the foresight of how to benefit from the energies of the nation’s people and youth, as some of them carried out acts like espionage and obstructed the process! So how could it be in such a confused atmosphere that this idea of mine would have found a place and a pure embrace so that it could serve and unite the people of the nation?

After that, the idea fermented to show that it is not only the perfect solution to the problem of proper naming, but also the golden key to the long-awaited unity. Here I must salute all previous attempts, because without them and what resulted from them, my suffering would not have increased and this idea of mine would not have been born.

I do not claim that my idea is perfect and that there is no better one, but I am confident in the strength and effectiveness of my idea because, in all humility, I have not found a better idea to this day. If a single better idea appears on the scene, rest assured that I will publicly acknowledge its superiority, take off my hat, and bow before it in honour of it and its owner.

The broad outlines of my idea of uniting the people of the nation (Chaldeans - Syriacs - Assyrians)

I will not go into precise details about my idea, as it is currently my property (the patent is my personal right), but rather I will point out some of its advantages and good fruits that are waiting for you if you have the courage and integrity to adopt it for the good of the people of your nation.

1.      The backbone of my idea is the principle of sacrifice. Everyone will willingly sacrifice something valuable for others, and everyone will willingly receive what others sacrifice. Since sacrifice is the finest form of love, then everyone will show love to his other brother. I ask you to swear to God, do you not dream and wish to live in this atmosphere of love? As for you, men of the church, you have satisfied us (thanks) with preaching about the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, to whom be glory. Now it is your turn to prove to your children that you are role models and good followers of Christ by accepting the sacrifice that you are about to make! The speech is extended to all the institutions of the nation’s sons who celebrate the sacrifice of the martyrs. Honor the nation’s martyrs!

2.      The first gain of my idea is the perfect solution to the dilemma of appropriate naming for the people of the nation and gives hope for a bright future.

3.      Whoever adopts this idea (individually or as a group) will enter history as a shepherd and unifier of the people of the nation.

4.      My idea is simple in principle, but its application will have a resounding resonance that will shake the mountains drawn by others among the various components of the nation (multiplicity of churches, multiplicity of parties, multiplicity of various institutions). At the same time, it will shake the throne of all our institutions, so that those who are loyal to their nation will emerge and those who are against it will be undermined.

Dear reader, you may be wondering: What makes you confident that your idea will succeed? A logical question, which I respect, and my answer is below:

1.      Previous attempts came from institutions with agendas. When I say agendas, I do not mean working for others, but rather I mean that all our institutions have an internal system and a work schedule (agenda). When our institutions met to unify efforts, everyone was trying to take what they could from the other (perhaps by imposing an opinion). Nothing could be given up. This principle was tightening the noose on them, and they found themselves, whether they knew it or not, standing against each other, and their attempts failed.

2.      As for my idea, because it is based on the sacrifice of all for the sake of all, there will be no tense discussion. My idea will not stop at solving the dilemma of the appropriate naming of our people but will go beyond it as a practical application of the unity of all our institutions and the unity of their internal systems with a precise and thoughtful work plan (at the present time this work plan is the personal property of the author of this article).

3.      My idea, none of the people of the nation will dare to think it, and if he has the courage to think it, he certainly will not dare to speak it! I have the moral courage to think and speak it. Because I believe in the principle of sacrifice, and I love and respect all others.

4.      The principle of the Knights of the Round Table (ONE for all and ALL for one) I believe in it, as by publishing this article I will have sacrificed for the sake of one nation (there is no need to mention the type of sacrifice because it entails great dangers). Are you ready to sacrifice for the sake of one nation and its one entity?!

           As a conclusion to this article, here are the following points:

A         Before you adopt my idea, you must know that I will not reveal any precise details of it until you fulfill two demands for the writer of this article, the first of which is materialistic and the second is moral. In the past, I would have offered it without any demand, but my suffering because of you forced me.

Rather, I will be supportive of you and a loyal servant of our old nation, which needs the efforts of all its people so that our joy may be overwhelming and that we may regain its glories. I implore you to God, join hands and do not waste the opportunity that I am putting in your hands.

E.     All of you prepare to receive the first blow (sacrifice). Accept it with open arms. Your heads will remain held high later.

F.     All you officials, you are not the owners of your institutions (meaning you do not own them), but rather you manage their affairs. The church belongs to the Lord Christ, Christ remains, and you are fleeting. Political institutions and parties belong to the nation. The nation will remain, and you will disappear. Cultural institutions belong to the people and humanity. The people will remain, and you will disappear. Which is more important to you, the survival of your position or the unity of your nation?

G.        You moderate (non-fanatics), mobilize your institutions to support the writer of this article for the sake of the unity of your nation and the elevation of your head.

H.        Perhaps you will say, “How will we meet the demands when we do not know what the idea is?”, that is, should we buy fish while it is in the river? I respect this point of view. My answer to it is: Read this article again and see the literary boldness with which its writer spoke. This is because he is confident of himself and loyal to his nation. You too should be confident in your desire to invest for the unity of your nation, and I am confident that you are smart and diligent in how to preserve your investments.
